Most of this web site is dedicated to the exceptional grandeur and nearly limitless possibilities of Olympic National Park. However, visiting the Park may be just one of several places and activities that you might want to experience while you’re here.
The list of festivals and events on the Olympic Peninsula (and nearby areas such as Vancouver B.C., Vancouver Island, the San Juan Islands, and Seattle itself ) is extensive. The variety of options – spread throughout the year – is enough to satisfy anyone’s interests. As always, the trick is to match your desires to the timing of your visit.

Activities in Forks, Port Angeles, Sequim, and Port Townsend are easiest to fit into your trip for the simple fact that traveling between the Park and these communities is usually relatively simple and quick. Activities off of the Olympic Peninsula, such as those in Seattle or Victoria B.C., will require more planning.

Live performances take place at the James Center for the Performing Arts in Sequim every Tuesday evening, beginning the last Tuesday in June. The last event takes place the last Tuesday in August.
